Starlight Theatre announced Thursday that it would be the venue to host the Van Gogh Alive! experience this fall. Patrick Mahomes is ahead of schedule as he rehabs from surgery to correct turf toe, according to a new report. The Barstow School is breathing new life into a Johnson County grocery store that’s been shuttered for years. There are now plans to develop a community resource at 122nd Street and State Line Road for students across the metro. Stroud’s Restaurant owner dies at 72

Mike Donegan, the owner of Kansas City's famous Stroud's Restaurant & Bar, has died at the age of 72. Connor Duncan, Donegan's cousin, posted on Facebook Monday morning that he passed away Sunday. "If I could sum him up in one word, it's 'giving,'" Duncan said in the social media post.
