A manufacturing facility that opened in Lenexa and almost immediately expanded is part of a deal valued at nearly half a billion dollars.
The Gordon-Rupp Co. (NYSE: GRC) said Thursday that it signed a deal to buy the assets of Tuthill Corp.’s Fill-Rite and Sotera lines. It will pay $525 million for the industrial pump lines, with a net transaction value of $445 million when adjusted for expected tax benefits, according to a release.
