There will be a new name on Sporting Kansas City’s sponsorship team when fans arrive for the home opener on Saturday.
Huhtamaki, a global supplier of food packaging and tableware, is the new name sponsor of the Shield Club at Children’s Mercy Park. Huhtamaki also will have its products used at the stadium and work with the club on a composting initiative, according to a Friday release.
