FBI agent testifies that Nigerian man defrauded Kansas City University in spoofing scheme
A Nigerian court revoked the bail of a man accused of defrauding Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences of $1.4 million.
A special court in the Nigerian city of Ikeja revoked an earlier release of Kolawole Erinle on Friday and placed him in custody, Punch Nigeria reports. Erinle and his company, Rinde-Remdex Nigeria Ltd. are charged with counts related to an alleged internet scheme targeting Kansas City University.
Erinle pleaded not guilty, according to Punch Nigeria.
