One of the Kansas City area’s largest and fastest-growing private companies has sold to a Pennsylvania logistics company.
PLS Logistics Services said Monday that it as acquired Overland Park-based D&L Transport LLC. The companies didn’t disclose financial terms of the deal, but said that D&L will operate as an independent subsidiary of PLS. Brian DeFrain will retain his role as president of D&L, and the company will keep all other existing managers and employees, according to a release.
