Yellow Corp. cuts one of its C-suite positions

Yellow Corp. said it has eliminated one of its C-suite positions — a position that had been occupied by an executive operating out of the company’s Overland Park offices. Yellow (Nasdaq: YELL) cut the position of chief accounting officer on Dec. 8, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. With the move, the company terminated James Faught. Coterie Theatre, KC arts leader Pelster dies

Joette Pelster, who built up the Coterie Theatre, as well as other major Kansas City arts institutions, has died. Pelster’s death comes shortly after she announced that she would retire as executive director of the Coterie Theatre.
