SKC Communications, one of KC’s biggest private companies, will sell to a Florida company
Founded in 1986 as a headset distributor, a technology company with an impressive list of honors, including the Kansas City Chamber's Mr. K Award, plans to sell itself. The business, which ranked No. 62 on the Kansas City Business Journal's most recent Top 150 Private Companies List, with 2020 revenue of more than $144 million, is selling to a company that reported six times more revenue and ten times more employees.
