Pat Klein will retire as Aviation Department director
Kansas City Aviation Director Pat Klein will retire at the end of May, he announced Tuesday.
Klein worked for Kansas City for more than 25 years, in capital projects and later as assistant city manager, before moving to aviation.
"The last seven years as aviation director have been the most challenging and rewarding of my career," Klein said in a resignation letter to City Manager Brian Platt.
