Ford’s newest F-150 for police has higher speed, ability to idle without a key
Ford Motor Co. has a new F-150 police vehicle, the company announced in a Tuesday release.
The F-150 Police Responder is assembled at the Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo. It will arrive in fleets in the fall.
The pickup truck's new idling feature lets an officer remove the key and exit the running truck without losing power to headlights and sirens.
