House Republicans' American Health Care Act would cost 24 million more people to lose their health insurance in a decade, according to the highly anticipated Congressional Budget Office report [PDF].
The CBO also found that the legislation would reduce federal deficits by $337 billion from 2017-2026. The largest savings would come from reductions in outlays for Medicaid and the elimination of the Affordable Care Act's subsidies.
