Panasonic inks lease for second De Soto facility in Flint Commerce Center

Panasonic Energy Co. Ltd. has leased half of a large industrial building under construction near its future $4 billion electric-vehicle battery plant in De Soto. The Japan-based company becomes the first tenant in the Flint Commerce Center.

Sporting KC parent, Kansas continue to negotiate penalties tied to ex-Cerner campus

Years ago, Sporting Kansas City's parent agreed to annual $3 million penalties if it and Cerner Corp. did not meet a payroll threshold at the former Continuous Campus and Children's Mercy Park. OnGoal continues to haggle with state and local officials years after Cerner's departure from Kansas City, Kansas.
