Burns & McDonnell launches work on sustainable data center in Northland

Shawnee man gets two years in federal prison for providing illegal cosmetic treatments

A Shawnee man operating a spa on Wornall Road admitted he gave his clients illegal Chinese products bought on the internet to save money. Unlicensed and untrained, he continued using the goods even after some of his clients had serious medical reactions.

KC Soda Co. opens ice cream shop next to its City Market location

Two Kansas City-area men are part of DOJ’s $2.5B health care fraud prosecution

The men face charges that they deployed "boiler-room" techniques to up-sell Medicare recipients products they didn't need medically, with the help of kickbacks and bribes to providers and telemarketers. Their scheme made up the bulk of the alleged fraud cases that resulted from a nationwide crackdown.

Grain Belt Express wind, solar energy project wins approval from Kansas regulators
