Ex-CFO pleads guilty to $3.1M embezzlement

Big 12 will vote Friday on formal offers to four new schools for conference

Presidents at Big 12 Conference schools are expected to vote Friday to extend formal offers to four schools — Houston, Cincinnati, Central Florida and Brigham Young — to join after current members Texas and Oklahoma announced plans to join the Southeastern Conference. The vote by Big 12 presidents is expected to be a "rubber stamp" exercise, CBS Sports reports. KC Southern, Canadian National re-evaluate deal; Canadian Pacific reaffirms its bid

Kansas City Southern and Canadian National say they will consider what to do after the Surface Transportation Board took a vital component of their deal off the table. Canadian Pacific, whose bid KC Southern rejected, reaffirmed its offer and says it stands ready to engage in talks about a sale.
