MoDOT announces closure of U.S. 169 southbound through Fall 2024

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) announced Tuesday that a portion of U.S. 169 from the Charles Wheeler Downtown Airport to Fifth Street in downtown Kansas City will be completely closed for over 600 days. Significant traffic pattern changes are necessary as crews work on the Buck O'Neil Bridge project, including the total closure of southbound U.S. 169 beginning on Monday, Feb. 6 through the Fall of 2024.
