A Kansas City restaurant that has generated a trio James Beard Award honorees now has a new top chef. The American hired Michael Olson as executive chef, effective immediately, the restaurant said in a release. It’s a homecoming of sorts for Olson, who previously worked at the Crown Center restaurant.
