Overland Park Starbucks employees on strike
Be prepared to change your morning or evening coffee commute because at least one Starbucks location will be closed for the next five days.
The Starbucks located on W. 75th St. in Overland Park will be closed from Wednesday, April 6, and is not scheduled to re-open for business until Monday, April 11.
It’s a direct result of the ongoing union fight happening at the site.

Parson: Missouri ‘will compete with any state trying’ to lure Chiefs to move
Missouri Gov. Mike Parson said he doesn't plan to let the Kansas City Chiefs relocate without a fight.
Parson, who confirmed Monday that he has talked with Chiefs President Mark Donovan, released a statement saying he told Donovan that Missouri "will compete with any state trying to move the Chiefs."

Russian hackers’ successful targets include Kansas nuclear plant
Russian hackers targeted dozens of sites, including a nuclear power plant in Kansas, according to two indictments that were returned in August, but were unsealed by the Department of Justice on Thursday.
One indictment alleged that three people working for the Russian government hacked into nuclear power plants, supply chains, oil and gas firms, as well as other power and utility companies between 2014 and 2017.

Attorney General Derek Schmidt warned Kansans that they may have had private information stolen in an August 2021 data breach at T-Mobile.
T-Mobile US Inc. reported that it had suffered a massive data breach that compromised the sensitive information of millions of current, former and prospective customers on Aug. 17.
