Tuesday Morning is going out of business, will close 5 more KC-area stores

Tuesday Morning Corp. is going out of business after a liquidation company agreed to buy the business, and it has begun closeout sales at its 200 remaining stores, including five in the Kansas City area. A judge in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas approved the sale of the home goods retailer to Hilco Merchant Resources. Westport craft cocktail bar Julep will close for good after Derby Day
